1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pageroo, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use Pageroo.

2. Description of Service

The App is a reading and learning platform that provides:

• AI-Generated Book Summaries: Condensed summaries of books created using artificial intelligence.
• Quizzes: Interactive quizzes to test your understanding of book content.
• Gamification Features: Reading streaks, experience points (XP), achievements, leaderboards, and leagues.
• Personalized Recommendations: Book suggestions based on your preferences and activity.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Pageroo.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

• The App offers premium features through subscription plans.
• Subscriptions are processed through Pageroole App Store and managed via RevenueCat.
• Payment is charged to your App Store account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription through your App Store account settings.
• Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policies.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important: Book summaries, quiz questions, and related content are generated using artificial intelligence.

• AI-generated summaries are intended as learning aids and overviews. They may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or misinterpretations of the original material.
• Summaries are not a substitute for reading the original book.
• The App does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.
• Content is for educational and informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and original content, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content provided by Pageroo without prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pageroo.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through Pageroo settings. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use Pageroo ceases immediately.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes within Pageroo. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
